PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens barrel which simplifies a support mechanism which guides first and second moving frames, which are moved by zooming operation, without turning them. SOLUTION: This zoom lens barrel is provided with a first moving frame 13 and a second moving frame 15, which are interlocked with a driving frame 12 which is turned and moved by zooming, and displaces a front lens group L1 and a rear lens group L2 by movement of these moving frames 13 and 15. In this barrel, a key 17b rushed into a key groove 11b of a fixed frame 11 is provided, and the driving frame 12 is turned freely and a support ring 17 attached to the rear end of the driving frame 12 is provided with a guide plate 17a extended in the direction of the optical axis, and the first moving frame 13 is provided with a narrow and long hole 20 into which the guide plate 17a is freely rushed, and the second moving frame 15 is provided with a two-forked projection part 15b pierced by the guide plate 17a, and thus the support mechanism is provided which guides first and second moving frames 13 and 15 in the direction of the optical axis without turning them.
