MASTER INFORMATION CARRIER AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a master information carrier by which preformat signals can be magnetically transferred with high density till an inner peripheral side and at the same time a magnetic disk provided with zone texture can be stably obtained in preformat recording onto the magnetic disk by using the master information carrier. SOLUTION: Minute ruggedness 8 corresponding to the zone texture is formed at an inner peripheral side than a recording region 2 of a transfer information signal of the master information carrier 1. The zone texture can be formed on the magnetic disk simultaneously with transfer of the information signal by pressing the master information carrier thereto when transfer to the magnetic disk using an aluminum substrate is exerted.
