PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high molecular electrolyte fuel cell which is excellent in gas-sealing properties between an air-tight and non-conductive material that covers sides of a stacked cell and a manifold installed outside the layer-built cell. SOLUTION: In a high molecular electrolyte fuel cell, a manifold is installed through an air-tight and non-conductive material, and sides of a stacked cell are coated with the air-tight and non-conductive material. In the fuel cell, at least a part of the gas manifold which contacts the sides of the high molecular electrolyte fuel cell is put into the sides. |
