PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component-mounting device and component-mounting method by which no specific nozzle is especially selected, if a nozzle of the same kind is plurally registered on one head, or a normal operation can be preformed, even if the nozzle is selected at a low frequency. SOLUTION: The position of previously used nozzle is stored for each kind of nozzle, and of the kind of nozzle of the same kind is plurally resistered on each of head 106, a nozzle 107 is selected, so that the nozzle-fitting position of nozzle kind to be selected this time becomes different in order from that of previous times, by the kind of the same nozzle. Thus, since the nozzle 107 of the same kind becomes constant in usage frequency regardless of the nozzle fitting position, service life of the nozzle 107 can be prolonged. |
