<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device controller to operate a magnetic tape and a solid-state memory through windows in response to them respectively. SOLUTION: A computer 10 first inquires of a control circuit 38 about an operation mode of a camcorder 12. The camcorder 12 is operated in a photographing mode where a camera 30, a magnetic tape unit 32, a solid-state memory device 34 and a control circuit 38 are in operation, in a tape reproduction mode where the magnetic tape device 32, the control circuit 38 and an interface 36 are in operation, or in a memory reproduction mode where the solid-state memory device 34, the control circuit 38 and the interface 36 are in operation and image information is reproduced from the solid-state memory device 34. The computer 10 displays an operation display window having a control button group, an image display window and a time code display column onto a screen of a monitor 16 in the tape reproduction mode, and displays an operation display window with an image information operation button group, a thumbnail display window and a capture button on the screen of the monitor 16 in the case of the memory reproduction mode.</p> |
