<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element having a high conversion efficiency and a method capable of manufacturing the element in a simple process. SOLUTION: In a photoelectric conversion element which has PN junctions in a semiconductor substrate 1 and a P side current collecting electrode 9 and an N side current collecting electrode 10 on the rear of the substrate 1, the peripheral part of the substrate 1 has the PN junction deeper than that in the center part of the substrate 1.</p> |
