PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a circulation request source to grasp impossibility of transmission to the next destination in the middle circulation when it occurs. SOLUTION: A main control part 1 receives the telephone number of the circulation request source and picture data for circulating stored in an SID (sender identification) signal, i.e., the sequence signal of facsimile device (Steps S31 and S35 in Fig. 7), and calls to the next circulation destination stored in a circulation destination telephone number table 7a to send the received telephone number of the circulation request source and the picture data for circulation to the destination (Steps S43 and S57 Fig. 8). When it cannot be sent to the next circulation destination (NO at step S44, NO at step S49 or NO at step S52), the part 1 calls to the received telephone number of the circulation request source (step S63) to send picture data of a circulation communication error report as information showing that the circulation is not completed (step S64) to give information to the circulation request source.
