PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a network system which can confirm a target PC without confirming the network constitution of PCs connected to a network through a diagram showing the connecting method of the network or visually. SOLUTION: This system has the PCs 115 which are connected to the network, a network diagnostic device 111, and a program editing device 112 for sequence control by the PCs and the network diagnostic device is equipped with a connection information acquiring means which automatically obtains connection information on the PCs connected to the network, a display means for displaying the connection information on the PCs, and an editing device actuating means which actuates the program editing device while a PC selected according to the displayed PC connection information can be communicated with.
