PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for stripping an inner sheath in which the inner sheath of a multicore cable can be stripped easily. SOLUTION: A cutter section 1A constituting a cutter 1 comprises a knife edge part 1A2 and an inserting part 1A1 having a tapered part M. The inserting part 1A1 of the cutter 1 is inserted into the end part of an inner sheath 34 and a cut is made in the inner sheath 34 by means of the knife edge part 1A2 thus exposing a core wire. Subsequently, the inner sheath 34 is cut and stripped. |
