PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device constituted so that the service life of a fixing belt is prolonged, stable fixing performance is demonstrated extending over a long term and power saving is achieved by enhancing the heating efficiency of a heating source, a fixing method and an image forming device having this fixing device. SOLUTION: This fixing device 7 is constituted so that a toner image (t) formed on a transfer material P is thermally fixed by the heated fixing belt 73. Then, at least one supporting roller 74 out of the plural supporting rollers 74 and 75 turnably supporting the belt 73 is composed of a rotary shaft 742, two flange members 743 and 744 fixed to both end parts of the shaft 742 and plural wires 741 laid between the flange members 743 and 744 in parallel so as to form a basket.
