PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera capable of being miniaturized while providing a cam member capable of driving an optical element without increasing a lead angle. SOLUTION: This camera is provided with a film cartridge chamber 46 which is formed into a nearly semi cylindrical shape and whose cylindrical surface side is arranged on the camera front side, a photographic lens barrel having a fixed frame 51, a finder optical system and a finder cam 41 in which a large diameter part 41d for moving the second lens of the finder optical system in an optical axis direction and a middle diameter part 41c for moving a third lens in the optical axis direction are formed. The finder cam 41 is arranged in a nearly triangular space viewing from the front and top of the camera to be constituted between the film cartridge chamber 46 and the photographic lens barrel so that the finder cam 41 may be nearly parallel to the photographic lens barrel and also the large diameter part 41d may be positioned on the camera front side than the middle diameter part 41c.
