PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a probe capable of highly accurately and easily measuring the shape of the bend part ridge line of the hemming part of an object to be measured without the need of special skills. SOLUTION: This probe 13 is constituted of a pair of clamping arms 17 and 18 facing both side faces of the bend part 26a of the hemming part 26 of the object B to be measured across it, rolling members 27 and 28 provided on the respective clamping arms 17 and 18 and capable of being rolled on the corresponding side face of the hemming part 26, and a roller type detection part 18 supported between both clamping arms 17 and 18 and capable of being rolled on the bend part ridge line L of the hemming part 26. By clamping the hemming part 26 by both clamping arms 17 and 18, the probe 13 is held in the correct posture that the outer peripheral surface of the detection part 18 is in contact with the bend part ridge line L of the hemming part 26.
