PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel capable of uniformly holding a gap between both substrates opposed to each other from a display part to a peripheral part utilizing cylindrical resin spacers simultaneously formed in the same manufacturing stage and to reduce unevenness of the peripheral gap. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel is characterized in that a colored layer 11 is formed in the lower layer of the resin spacer 1c formed on a CF(color filter) substrate 2 in the peripheral part C as an exclusive layer for laminating the cylindrical resin spacer. Except the colored layer 11, a signal electrode layer or a semiconductor layer is formed on a TFT substrate.
