The invention concerns a method for browsing through a menu comprising a step which consists in simultaneously displaying a group of elements and a group of sub-elements of a lower hierarchical level than that of the elements. Each element or sub-element is automatically and successively selected. The group of sub-elements displayed corresponds to the selected element. An activation control enables a user to activate the selected element or sub-element. The invention also concerns the receiver for implementing said method. |
