PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equalize the blowoff air speed distribution in an impeller of a centrifugal air blower, reduce noise, or reduce noise in an air conditioner, and improve heat exchange efficiency. SOLUTION: In an impeller 7 of a centrifugal air blower having a main plate 20 reaching the rotational outer peripheral side from the rotational center side, a shroud 21 for forming a gas passage between the shroud 21 and the main plate 20 by being oppositely arranged on this main plate 20 and plural blades 22 uprightly arranged between these main plate 20 and shroud 21 and arranged in the turning radius direction, a thickness of whole or partial blades 22 is formed so as to become gradually thick toward the main plate 20 from the shroud 21, and a mutual adjacent distance of the respective blades 22 is gradually narrowed toward the main plate 20 form the shroud 21. |
