<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power controller capable of suppressing the increment of the whole power consumption by controlling the operation frequency of a CPU and the luminance of a display device by a data processor driven by a battery. SOLUTION: When the operation frequency of the CPU is increased, the luminance of the display device connected to the data processor including the CPU in its inside is reduced, and when the operation frequency of the CPU is reduced, the luminance of the display device is increased to almost fix power consumption. When the luminance of the display connected to the data processor is increased, the operation frequency of the CPU is reduced, and when the luminance of the display device is reduced, the operation frequency of the CPU is increased to almost fix the power consumption. When a driving motor for a disk type recording medium is spun up, the operation frequency of the CPU is reduced, and at the end of the spinning-up operation, the operation frequency of the CPU is restored to the original state.</p> |
