PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiring accommodating device that is provided along a desk, can accommodate an extra-length cable without reducing the arrangement space of outlets, and at the same time, can also secure wide space on the desk when the accommodation of the extra-length cable is not required. SOLUTION: A pair of left and right lower posts 2, where a rest leg 1 is provided at a lower part, is interlocked by interlock mallets 3 and 4, an upper post 5 is supported at each upper part of the lower posts 2, while the upper post can be elevated, at the same time, a wiring box 6 that arranges outlets 16a and 16b in an upper-surface opening and can be fitted is erected between the upper ends of the upper post 2, and height adjustment can be made between the height, where the upper surface of the wiring box 6 becomes nearly flush with the upper surface of a desk and that where the lower surface of the wiring box 6 projects upwards from the upper surface of the desk.
