SUBSTANCE: metal of inner nozzle of tuyere is protected with metallic insert whose size corresponds to collapsible portion of inner nozzle of tuyere subjected to action of aggressive coke gas. Insert is made of one or several plates of transformer steel with MgO-base electrically insulated coating. Plates are cut out of transformer steel sheets.
