PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress noise generated as a result of relative displacement in the axial direction between an inner ring and a holder being permitted and to improve durability. SOLUTION: In a constant velocity universal joint for allowing relative displacement in an axial direction between an inner ring 2 and a holder, the region on the two end sides of the outer peripheral surface 2a of the inner ring 2 and the inner peripheral surface of the holder approach and are separated from each other along displacement in the axial direction. In this case, a recessed part 7 is situated at least in the region on two end sides of the outer peripheral surface 2a of the inner ring 2, a rubber 5 making contact with the inner peripheral surface of the holder is vulcanized for adhesion to a position in the recessed part 7, and a relief part 6 to contain the part which is equivalent to elastic deformation of the rubber 5 due to contact with the inner peripheral surface of the holder is formed.
