PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding portable telephone system capable of looking at incoming information including the telephone number of a caller and the name of the caller from the outside in its folded state and also looking at a residual communicable time from the outside at once in a prepaid portable telephone system, etc. SOLUTION: A 1st displaying means 4 composed of a liquid crystal display device, etc. is provided on the outer surface of a 1st main body housing 1. A 2nd displaying means 5 is also provided on inner surface of the 1st main body housing, and an antenna 9 is provided on a side of a 2nd main body housing 2 in a freely and obliquely upward insertable and extractable way. A sandglass 10 and an accumulated speech communication time 11 are displayed on the means 4 while showing the states in which speech communication information is displayed in analog and digital manners. When an incoming call is received, the display of the speech communication information is removed, and display 12 to the effect that the incoming call is received, the name 13 of the caller and the caller's telephone number 14 are displayed as the incoming information instead.
