PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal paste capable of being optimized and further enhance reduction of the layer by incorporating the paste with fatty acid or its salt as additives to supplement the limit or defect of pasting characteristics of metal powder. SOLUTION: The metal paste contains, dominantly, an organic vehicle formed by dissolving an organic binder such as ethylcellulose in an organic solvent such as terpineol and powder of such base metal as nickel, which is incorporated with one type or more of fatty acid or its salt, specifically, fatty acid such as oleic acid, palmitic acid, myristic acid, stearic acid and lauric acid or its salt, as additives.
