PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for personal identification and a computer readable recording medium with the recorded relevant method, with which a user can be highly accurately identified and security can be improved as a result. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a card reader 18 for reading password data from a password card, on which the password data concerning the character entry of a user are recorded beforehand, and a keyboard 14 equipped with a panel for password character entry for reading data concerning the character entry when the user enters characters, a personal identifying device 10 compares the password data read by the reader 18 with data concerning the character entry read the panel for password character entry provided on the keyboard 14 and when these data are coincident, it is judged that the said user is a proper user. |
