PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To significantly reduce the transportation cost of a cold roll box by improving the transporting efficiency of the box by making the box foldable so that no space may be left among cold roll boxes at the time of loading the boxes on a truck. SOLUTION: A cold roll box 1 is provided with the main body of a heat insulating housing chamber 2 having an opening on the front side and a heat insulating door 3 which closes the opening. The main body of the housing chamber 2 is constituted of a rear heat insulating box body 5, the top wall 7 of the box body 5 which is freely rotatably pivoted downward, and the bottom wall 8 of the body 5 which is rotatably pivoted upward. The box 1 is also constituted of a front heat insulating box body 6 which openably/closably pivots the heat insulating door 3 and left and right side walls 9 and 12 which are divided at the central part and pivoted in such a way that the walls 9 and 12 can be folded toward the inside of the box 1 and can be rotated freely toward the insides of the box bodies 5 and 6.
