PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower communication cost and to improve throughput. SOLUTION: The system comprises a client 12 having an incorporated Web browser 17 which receives a processing request and a server which is connected to the client through a network 13 and receives the processing request from the client by a Web server 27 and processes it by a processing part 29. The client 12 is equipped with operation mode selecting means 15, 18a, and 18b which selecting a network mode or local mode as an operation mode, a Web server (HTML service) which receives a processing request outputted by the Web browser 17 while the local mode is selected, a processing part 21 which performs processing specified by the processing request, and a processing request transmitting means 19 which sends the processing request outputted by the Web browser 17 to the server 14 through the network while the network mode is selected. |
