PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high contact pressure between a contact blade and a cut surface of a conductor route. SOLUTION: A front side and a rear side of a conductor route 11 are covered with insulation sheets 12 at a terminal of a FFC 10. A substrate 22 is formed at a back end of a terminal metal fitting 20 so as to extend therefrom. Contact blades 25 are erected from both side edges of the substrate. A press plate 23 faces the substrate 22 so as to be freely opened or closed. The contact blades 25 are thrust from the rear side of the conductor route 11 of the FFC 10 to the front side thereof. Thereafter, the press plate 23 is closed between the contact blades 25 so as to rub the contact blades for pressing the FFC 10 toward the substrate 22. Projected ends of the contact blades 25 are caulked at side edges of the press plate 23, then fixed thereto. When the FFC 10 is pressed to the substrate 22, the FFC 10 or the conductor route 11 is straightened between the contact blades 25, then compressed in a thickness direction, therefore, a cut plane of the conductor route 11 is expanded at sides thereof for contacting the sides of the contact blades 25 at high pressure.
