PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismometer fixing device capable of securing a space for passing a connector in the inside. SOLUTION: This fixing device for fixing a seismometer in a casing buried in the ground is equipped with a rotating shaft 2 assembled to a holding member 1 substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the casing 11, and a fixing member 6 fixed to the inner peripheral surface of the casing interlocking with rotation of the rotating shaft. The rotating shaft is operated to rotate by the drive of a pulse motor 3 assembled in the seismometer for correcting the attitude to fix the seismometer.
