PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save electric energy by suppressing power consumption on an accessory side when a battery for the use on a camera side has a margin in capacity and permits to give time to drive an actuator for an accessory side. SOLUTION: In a camera system comprising a camera with a battery, and an accessory to be operated using the battery as a power source according to an instruction from the camera, the camera decides electric energy allowed for the use on the accessory side, and transmits (#104) a signal presenting the electric energy to the accessory. |
