PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AC power voltage controlling method capable of optionally reducing power to be supplied to a load side while extremely suppressing switching noise. SOLUTION: When the (2N+1) half-wave length (N: natural number) of input AC power voltage is defined as one period T, control for thinning out only half-wave length components allocated in previously determined order out of half-wave length components included in one period T is executed to obtain output AC power voltage.
