PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beam scanning type antenna system, which selects two adjacent beams and synthesizes them at an optional power distribution ratio so as to keep a gain even against a direction between the beams, that adopts a simple analog circuit configuration with principally no loss so as to obtain a desired directivity through the power distribution. SOLUTION: A distributor 5, variable phase shifters 4a, 4b and a hybrid 3 distribute a signal from a transmitter-receiver 6 into two signals V1, V2 whose power ratio is variable, and an electronic switch 2 is used to provide the signals to beam selection terminals 7 corresponding to two optional adjacent beams respectively.
