PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which the electromagnetic shield of a dark room for radio wave, having a simple structure can be formed by easily performing welding work, without requiring skin. SOLUTION: In a method by which the electromagnetic shield of a dark room for radio wave is formed by welding the end sections of shielding plates composed of a conductive material to each other, two pairs of side plates 11, 12, 13, and 14 are formed on the facing end edges of shield substrates 1 by changing the height of the plates 11, 12, 13, and 14. Substrates 1 are positioned, in such a way that the surfaces 10 of adjacent substrates 10 are almost flush with each other and the heights of the side plates 11, 12, 13, and 14 become different from each other. Then the side plates 12 and 14 are welded to the side plates 11 and 13 by welding the end sections of the plates 12 and 14 to the side faces of the plates 11 and 13.
