PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for food preparation which can increase further the amount of heat received by food heated from its surface by an electronic oven. SOLUTION: The food preparation material 10a is formed in such a way that a metallic vapor deposition film 24 is laminated on one side of a substrate 22, which is supported by a support layer 26 to constitute an exothermic sheet 12, and the sheet is made cubic by folding it with certain widths. Since the exothermic sheet 12 of the food preparation material 10a is folded to be cubic, actual exothermic area of the exothermic sheet 12 is larger than the projection area covered by the food preparation material 10a. As a result, the amount of heat received by the surface of food from the exothermic sheet 12 can be increased.
