PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor with reduced number of part items for generating proper axial directional contact pressure between a fixed spiral body and a movable spiral body and with a stable revolving motion of the movable spiral body at high load time. SOLUTION: Plural ball rolling traveling grooves 16a, 17a are respectively mutually formed at intervals in the circumferential direction, one has a ring- shaped first race 16 fixed to a movable spiral body 2, the other has a ring- shaped second race 17 fixed to housings 4, 6 for housing a fixed spiral body 1 and the movable spiral body, the ball rolling traveling grooves of both races are mutually opposed, and have a movable spiral body autorotation preventive ball coupling 15 having a ball 18 for engaging with both grooves, an inner peripheral edge part and an outer peripheral edge part of the first race abut to the movable spiral body, clearance is formed between the ball rolling traveling grooves and a movable spiral body part, an inner peripheral edge part and an outer peripheral edge part of the second race abut to the housings, and clearance is formed between the ball rolling traveling grooves and the housings.
