摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light measuring device capable of measuring the state of measured objects of different kinds with high accuracy without lengthening measurement intervals of the plurality of measured objects. SOLUTION: A selector knob is attached to a variable constant voltage power supply circuit 8 for feeding a light projector 4, and a voltage from the circuit 8 impressed on the projector 4 is changed in stages by operating the knob. A halogen lamp is built in the projector 4. When a high voltage is impressed thereon by the circuit 8, the lamp irradiates a measured object H with light of high intensity and, when a low voltage is impressed by the circuit 8, the lamp irradiates an object H with light of low intensity. If sugar contained in objects H of different kinds is measured, light transmitted and coming into a light receiver 5 can be substantially of the same intensity. This enables the sugar content of the objects H to be measured with high accuracy without lowering the speed of a conveyor 10 conveying the objects H.
