PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp socket for a very small indicating lamp for use in an automatic machine for assembling a bulb free of a lamp base. SOLUTION: A photographing leg section 5 in which a lamp body is disposed on a shaft-like leg section 4 on a bottom surface of a synthetic resin socket body 1 provided with a fit flange section 2 is provided to project at a predetermined angle so that the fixing position relative to a mounting hole on a print board side is parallel to or crossing a longitudinal direction of lamp arrangement at right angles. A driver insertion groove 8 disposed in an end surface of said shaft-like leg section 4 is cut shallow. A deep-cut lead wire guide groove 9 crossing the driver insertion groove 8 is designed to divided on different levels with said driver insertion groove width as a section wall 10. A lamp lead wire 22 leading out from a wire lead-out hole 11 facing each lead wire guide groove 9 is constructed to divide into the right and the left as a bent guide. A winding stop groove 14 reaching from the back surface of the flange through the front surface of the flange to the back surface of the flange is provided with a rise prevention section 15 for holding a tip of the lead wire.
