PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the constitution of an electronic equipment having a movable panel part and to adequately transmit the output of a driving source to an upper region and a lower region of the panel part. SOLUTION: In this electronic equipment 10, a panel part 14 is movable between a closed position where the front face 18 of a main body part 12 is covered and an opened position where the front face 18 is exposed. A panel part driving mechanism is provided with a first operating member 28 which vertically displaces the upper region of the panel part 14 along the front face 18 of the main body part, a second operating member 30 which horizontally displaces the lower region of the panel part 14 so as to approach and leave the front face 18 of the main body part, the driving source 32 common to the first and second operating members 28, 30 and a power transmitting unit 34 which properly distributes and transmits the output of the driving source 32 to the first and second operating members 28, 30, The first operating member 28 consists of a flexible belt 28 which is fixed to a part 72 near the upper end of the panel 14 at both ends thereof and operationally connected to the power transmitting unit 34 on the other part in the loop.
