PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating machine which can deal sufficiently with increase in the capacity of a compressor without increasing the capacity of a condensing unit, and thereby the capacity of the entire refrigerating machine, significantly and in which a maximum condensation capacity can be sustained while making compact the structure. SOLUTION: A refrigerating unit comprising a compressor 2, a plurality of air-cooled condensers 3A-3F disposed in series, and a liquid receiver 4 is contained in a housing 12 sectioned into upper and lower chambers by means of a barrier wall 13 and the plurality of air-cooled condensers 3A-3F are contained in the upper chamber. In such a refrigerating machine, an air gap part 14 for introducing the outdoor air at least to the inner side air-cooled condensers 3C, 3D among the air-cooled condensers 3A-3F is provided between the lower bottom section of the plurality of air-cooled condensers 3A-3F and the barrier wall 13.
