PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give a mask function to a semiconductor integrated circuit provided with a memory cell and having a delayed write-function. SOLUTION: This circuit is provided with a memory cell MC and a holding section 22. The holding section 22 holds write-in data supplied corresponding to a write-in command and mask information making the prescribed bits of write-in data as write-in holding data and mask holding information respectively. When a semiconductor integrated circuit receives the next write-in command, the circuit makes write-in holding data in accordance with mask holding information and write the masked information in a memory cell MC. The holding section 22 holds the next write-in data and the next mask information supplied corresponding to the above write-in command as write-in holding data and mask holding information respectively. Therefore, write-in data can be masked in a semiconductor integrated circuit having a delayed write-function.
