PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a durable and economical controlling device that can automatically operate a rubbish crane-metering machine. SOLUTION: This controlling device for rubbish crane-material machines is provided with a means for detecting and metering the landing of a bucket to a rubbish pit and the amount of rubbish according to the output of a strain gauge 6 by mounting the strain gauge 6 to the load support point of the traction drum of a wire for hanging the rubbish-gripping bucket of a movement-type rubbish crane, a limit switch LS for position detection of the vertical and horizontal movement of the crane, and a level sensor LV for detecting the amount of deposit of rubbish in the rubbish pit. The signal of the detection/metering means, limit switch LS, and level sensor LV is transmitted to a control room by radio, thus automatically controlling the vertical and horizontal movement of a rubbish crane-metering machine and the up/down movement and gripping open operation of the bucket by a central processing unit(CPU), and hence automatically throwing rubbish into a rubbish incinerator hopper.
