PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily attach a stopper for fixing the rear end of a cooling unit onto a pedestal from the front side of a main body cabinet. SOLUTION: A rectangular hole 2a for attaching the stopper 9 is bored on a pedestal 2 forming the bottom plate of an outer casing for an automatic vending machine, the stopper 9 is composed of engaging pieces 9b, for which both the sides of a base plate 9a are segmented in the shape of L and folded downward, and a pressing part 9c, for which the front of this base plate 9a rises almost perpendicularly and further the upper end is obliquely folded forward, this stopper 9 is slid from the front side of the automatic vending machine on the pedestal 2, the engaging pieces 9b are fitted into the rectangular hole 9a, the pedestal 2 is mounted while being held between the engaging piece 9b and the base plate 9a, and the rear end of a fitting plate 31 of the cooling unit is pushed into the said pressing part 9c s that the stopper 9 is strongly fixed on the pedestal 2.
