PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an intermediate transfer body by which the intermediate transfer body small in the variation of electric resistance and excellent in dimensional precision can be manufactured in an extremely simple process, and an adverse effect is not exerted on environment without needing any organic solvent. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the intermediate transfer body having a layer formed by using powder material essentially consisting of thermofusing powder on the surface is provided with a process that a metallic mold for centrifugal molding 31 having an almost cylindrical hollow part 32 is prepared, a process that the powder material is put in the hollow part 32 of the mold 31, heated and rotated so as to form the cylindrical layer along the inside circumferential surface of the hollow part 32 and a process that the cylindrical layer is removed from the mold 31.
