PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive material transporting device which can transport paper in a correct posture. SOLUTION: This photosensitive material transporting device has a first grasping mechanism 31 and second grasping mechanism 32 disposed on both sides in the transporting width direction of a transporting route in order to transport paper P of a prescribed size along the prescribed transporting route, a first drive section 21 for moving the first grasping mechanism 31 along the transporting route, a second drive section 22 for moving the second grasping mechanism 32 along the transporting route, a moving quantity correcting means 23a for correcting the difference between the first moving quantity of the paper P by the first grasping mechanism 31 and the second moving quantity of the paper P by the second grasping mechanism 32 and a moving speed correcting means 23b for correcting the difference between the first moving speed of the paper P by the first grasping mechanism 31 and the second moving speed of the paper P by the second grasping mechanism 32.
