PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing device having an easily attachable/detachable a cover and simple in configuration. SOLUTION: A hinge shaft 4 being the rotary shaft of a rear cap 3 for opening/closing an opening part formed in a rear cover 2 is composed of large diameter parts 4a and 4c and a narrow diameter part 4b sandwiched between the large diameter parts 4a and 4c. The narrow diameter part 4b is exposed outside between through-hole parts 3c and 3d of the rear cap 3. In the case of replacing the rear cap 3, the rear cap 3 is easily replaced by clamping the narrow diameter part 4b with tweezers, etc., thereby shifting and detaching the shaft 4 in the shaft direction.
