PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silencer for air-conditioning facility, which is low in cost, light in weight, small in ventilation resistance and high in sound deadening effect in all frequency areas. SOLUTION: A sound deadening flexible duct 1, arranged in the route of duct for an air-conditioning facility, and a sheath tube 2, covering the periphery of the sound deadening flexible duct 1, are provided. An air layer is preferably formed between the outer peripheral surface of the sound deadening flexible duct 1 and the inner peripheral surface of the sheath tube 2. Sometimes, both end openings of the sheath tube 2 are provided with lids 3 for closing both end openings. The sheath tube 2 is preferable to have flexibility. |
