PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily shift to the start gear ratio without requiring a clutch brake in a vehicular duplex shift system. SOLUTION: In a computer assisted vehicular splitter type duplex transmission 16 having a manually operated shift lever 31 and a main part 16A shifted by a controller 48, a shift to the start gear ratio is controlled. A three-position (L, H, N) actuator 46 is arranged in a splitter part 16E, and when detecting a shift of the main part to neutral, separation of a master clutch 14 and a low vehicle speed, inertia of a main shaft assembly is reduced by indicating the splitter part to a splitter neutral position to reduce the necessity of a clutch brake at start gear ratio engaging time. |
