摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting wire material high in Jc in a low magnetic field, applicable to all magnetic fields of 26T or less and superior to a Nb3A1 wire in Jc property in a high magnetic field. SOLUTION: This superconducting wire material has a fine multicore structure in which a number of micro combined core materials containing a Cu-Al alloy, to which 0.2-10 at.% Cu is added to form a composite in Nb, embedded in Nb, Ta, Nb base alloy or Ta base alloy as a matrix material. An A15 phase compound structure is formed by rapid heating of the micro composite core material at 1700 deg.C or more for two seconds or less and quenching close to a room temperature, and additional heat treatment is performed at 650-900 deg.C to form a Cu added Nb3A1 fine multicore superconducting wire.
