PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguide which reduces variance in the divergence angle of emitted light for the optical waveguide and reduces that of each emitted light of a multi-beam light source, with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The width of the core of the optical waveguide, which approximately maximizes the divergence angle, is so selected that the divergence angle cannot be changed sharply in spite of a slight variable in size of the core of the optical waveguide, due to production errors or the like. |
