PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tracking control circuit capable of tracking control precisely following up a wobbled information recording track. SOLUTION: In at least a quadripartite light receiving part, a tracking error signal is generated based on a phase difference between a first difference signal obtained from a division light receiving part of a set placed on one diagonal and a second difference signal placed on another diagonal, and the tracking control for the wobbled information recording track is performed.
