摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized phasing array antenna system utilizing a base layer with a high dielectric constant where positions of a plurality of antenna elements are set on the surface of the base layer, the dielectric constant, the thickness and the shape of the surface layer allow the surface layer to act like a dielectric lens to control a phase relation of a signal received by the antenna element, which is designed to decrease a physical space between the antenna elements while keeping the space diversity in the same phase between the signals arrived from different directions. SOLUTION: The antenna array of this invention can be remarkably miniaturized more than a conventional phasing array antenna while keeping a similar phase relation to that attained by using the conventional phasing array antenna. An electronic circuit coupled with each of a plurality of the antenna elements applies a complex weighting to received signals prior to summing the received signals in order to reconfigure and decompose undesirable signals. The temperature of a SAW filter used in the electronic circuit is controlled to maintain the stability of group delay and phase offset characteristics.
