PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating stockroom on which the tight closure between an opening/closing door and the stockroom can be improved while the fine view of the front face side of a housing chamber is maintained and the opened/closed states of the door can be detected surely. SOLUTION: A refrigerator 1 is provided with an opening/closing door 6 fitted with a gasket member 11 on its periphery on the front face side of a housing chamber 4a. In the gasket member 11, magnets 13 for tight closure are provided and, at the same time, magnets 15 for detecting opened/closed state of the door 6 are provided near the magnets 13. On the front face side of the partition wall 4b of the refrigerator 1, magnetizable metallic members 17 which receive magnetic forces from the magnets 13 are provided and, at the same time, reed switches 19 are provided in the vicinities of the members 17. In addition, an unmagnetizable frame 21 is attached to the front face section of the partition wall 4b so as to cover the members 17 and switches 19.
