PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide waste treatment facilities that suppress the blow-through of gas, and can increase the throughput of wastes. SOLUTION: The waste treatment facilities are equipped with a dry distillation/ carbonization furnace 4 for compression-formed wastes, a high-temperature reaction column 5 for partially oxidizing, gasifying, and fusing dry distillation substance and carbide, and a melt heating/heat-retaining furnace 16 for heating and keeping melted material, an outlet 4f of the dry distillation/carbonization furnace 4 is connected to the side wall of the high-temperature reaction column 5, a suction port 13A of gas containing oxygen is provided on the side wall of the high-temperature reaction column 5 being provided at a lower position than the outlet 4f of the dry distillation/ carbonization furnace 4, an inlet 16e of the melt heating/heat-retaining furnace 16 is connected to the side wall of the high-temperature reaction column 5 being provided at a lower position than the suction port 13A of gas containing oxygen, and an angle:θbeing formed by projection lines 11 and 12 when each perpendicular being suspended to an up-and-down-direction center shaft CL of the high-temperature reaction column 5 from a center C1 of the outlet 48 of the dry distillation/carbonization furnace 4 a center C2 of the inlet 16e of the melt heating/heat-retaining furnace 16 is projected onto the same horizontal surface is set to 45 degrees or less.
